Confessions of a Designer

22 November 2002

My name is Doug, and I’m a recovering Windows user. This was the first line of an entry that I started last night. It began as an idea discussing my recent renewed interest in the Mac OS after a two and a half year addiction with Windows. But it grew into a longer piece than I had planned, and became a fun way tell the story of a die-hard Mac fanatic turned Windows user. The writing style is the same that I’ve been developing here. It’s not intended to be a slam against Windows. Rather, it merely recounts my own experience with operating systems and computers which can be juxtaposed with any stereotypical designer persona. Instead of taking up space here for 1500 words, it’s now posted in Articles where something of this length belongs: Confessions of a Designer.
